Dirty Laundry

This project outlines my own experience with emotional and sexual abuse, taking phrases said to me by individuals who were abusive in some fashion, and putting them onto underwear. I had a goal of taking sexual abuse out of the 'taboo' closet, airing this heavy topic, and exhibiting it in an effort to create conversation.

This work was selected for exhibition in An Upstream Flow in a Downstream Current, installed in Pete's Dam Park in Temiskaming Shores, Ontario, curated by Alexander Rondeau
