Over the course of the Museum Management and Curatorship Program, I have been able to immerse myself in the details that go into cataloguing and collections management.
One of my favourite parts of cataloguing is getting into the photo studio! It's here that I can exercise my artistic background to benefit the records of whatever institution I am doing work for.
In addition to interacting directly with collections, I've had the unique experience of doing data cleaning for a small heritage site in Nova Scotia. I had the opportunity to work with a different kind of database, and was excited by the benefits and challenges of working remotely.
